There was like 10 secs left in the whole game. I was 10 secs away from crip walking all the way to Brazil. I was 10 secs away from being happy for the rest of my life.

After considering all the pros and cons Team USA has something that Portugal doesn't, a rapper. American hero Clint Dempsey, I mean, Deuce (his rapper name) can spit mad bars.

USA defeats Ghana 2-1

Am I surprised? No. Am I excited? Yes. Dempsey scored in the first 30 secs and Brooks made the game winner in the final 5 mins, that's so America.

No, your eyes aren't deceiving you. This is how the end of my World Cup bracket looks like so naturally, this is how to World Cup is going to end this year in real life. It'll be a tough game for the boys in red, white and blue but not tough enough. This is what sports is all about, your home country beating probably the best soccer country in the history of soccer. I just went with my gut on this whole bracket and I think it'll pay off.

Side Note: How likely is it that Team USA will beat Russia, Argentina, Spain, then Brazil (in that order) to win the World Cup? Because that's how I have them getting through this tournament. Oh yea, go make your own bracket on ESPN.com

American wins the Boston Marathon

So this guy, Meb Keflezighi, became the first American to win the Boston Marathon since 1983. I wouldn't have it any other way, an American has to win after what happened last year. This is why America always wins, because America is the best. Go red, white and blue. Too bad I can't pronounce his last name though but I can pronounce America, that's all that matters.

Happy Easter y'all. Today is the day I go to church, eat food, eat candy and eat more food. Everyone has their own Easter tradition which is great. Kid gets suspended for asking Miss America to prom

YORK, Pa. (AP) — A Pennsylvania high school student is in hot water for asking Miss America to prom during a question and answer session at school. Eighteen-year-old Patrick Farves said he received three days of in-school suspension Thursday because he asked Nina Davuluri to prom.

Are you kidding me, talk about the ultimate blockage. I thought our education system's job was to encourage their students to succeed. What better way to succeed in life than to take Miss America to prom. It takes charm, skills and confidence to ask someone to prom, but to ask Miss America it takes 10x that at least. Come on look at the kid, tell me he's not a true player.

I'm rooting for the guy, if he can't have Miss America he still has plenty of options. He can ask out Miss Pennsylvania or maybe even Miss Universe, well after his suspension of course.
